CAP
With its wide safety glass doors, the GEOTRAC 124 Panorama Comfort Cab is easy and comfortable to enter. Cab lighting and an automatic door ensure safe entry even in the dark. Drastically pushed back B-pillars give the operator a maximum panoramic view. Cab design is based heavily on the optimal 360° clear vision found in helicopters.
The generously opening rear window, adjustable side windows and the 3-speed fresh air blowers provide an optimal working environment. The optional automatic climate control allows cab temperature to be regulated easily and conveniently. Temperature can be set down to the exact degree desired. The system automatically regulates air temperature. Airflow intensity can also be adjusted to different levels. The air filter can be changed at the rear of the cab roof. The filter housing is easy to reach with the aid of the rear hydraulics.
Clear Vision
With its innovative front loader clear vision screen, the GEOTRAC 124 provides an unrivalled wide field of vision when working with the front loader. The operator enjoys an unobstructed view from the ground to maximum unloading height. A visor built into the roof protects the operator from direct sun rays. A sun protection roller blind covering the entire width of the cab is also available. The front windscreens are specially sealed to keep engine noises from entering the cab. For winter operation, the standard heated front windscreen eliminates fogging within seconds for clear vision. It also provides comfortable radiated heat from the front. With its standard ultra bearing suspension, the cab offers optimal driving comfort. An optional pneumatic cab suspension connecting to the pneumatic system is available. In this innovative system, the entire control mechanics are built into the air bellows for optimal protection against dirt and corrosion. The suspension cylinders are lockable. This enables both stability on a hillside as well as optimal suspension comfort during transport operations.
More Security
An especially innovative safety concept was implemented in the GEOTRAC 124 cab. The driver‘s cab is designed as both a ROPS (Roll- Over Protective Structure) and a FOPS (Falling- Object Protective Structure). The GEOTRAC 124 is the first tractor to feature this high safety standard normally seen only in heavy construction equipment. The driver is thereby protected from rolling over on a hillside as well as from falling objects encountered, for example, in forestry operations. In addition to this, the entire front windscreen is made of CSG (composite safety glass) for protection against any penetrating objects.
ENGINE – PERKINS POWER
Perkins 4-Cylinder Turbo Diesel
The GEOTRAC 124 is powered by a PERKINS 4-cylinder turbo diesel with common rail injection, charge air cooling and 2 performance curves. Normal performance is 126 hp / 92.8 kW at 2200 RPM and 550 Nm torque at 1400 RPM. During transport or other operations with low energy demand, the intelligent engine control switches to ECO mode. In this second performance curve, engine performance is reduced to 116 hp / 85.7 kW and 530 Nm of torque. If necessary, full normal performance can be restored within a fraction of a second. In this way, the GEOTRAC 124 always performs with optimal fuel consumption in each performance range. In power take-off operations, the automated powerboost-function provides overload power of up to 134 hp / 98.4 kW.
Cooling Package
The large grilles and airflow ducts ensure optimal cooling. The radiators are designed so that they can be easily cleaned without having to be removed. GEOTRAC 124 is equipped with Visko fans. The optional Cleanfix system is available for long grassland operations. With the Cleanfix system, the rotation of the fan blades blows the air intake grille clean in regular intervals. The one-piece engine bonnet opens easily and safely with the aid of gas pressure cylinders.
